Rachel’s role as a paraplanner predominantly involves supporting the advisers by preparing detailed, compliant reports and conducting research to ensure recommendations are accurate and suitable. This centres on translating complex financial information into clear, structured documentation.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys staying active and keeping fit while making the most of the outdoors. She spends a lot of time walking her two dogs and hiking, and loves horse riding.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

At the top of my bucket list is travelling and exploring both the UK and the wider world. I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and seeing everything the world has to offer.

What was your first job?

My first job was working in a restaurant. It was a great experience for learning how to work as part of a team, manage busy periods, and interacting with customers.

What’s the best thing about doing your job?

What I enjoy most about my job is working on more complex cases and turning detailed financial information into clear, easy to understand reports. It’s really satisfying simplifying something that can be otherwise complex while making sure everything is accurate and compliant. I also like that there’s plenty of variety.

Who inspires you?

I’m inspired by people who are passionate about what they do and who work hard to make a positive difference. I particularly admire those who stay motivated and approach challenges with a positive attitude.
