We believe in supporting our community. So, we’re planning to make a £50 charitable donation for every initial meeting we have that comes from a recommendation made by either our existing clients, our staff, or our professional partners. Whether the meeting takes place in person or remotely, we’ll make a donation.
Simply put, if you recommend them to us and we meet them, we’ll make a £25 donation to two charities on your behalf – and see if we can improve their financial situation.
How you can help us get started
We will be continuing to support Sporting Wellness as we have done in the past, but we need to choose another worthy local cause to support, and we would like you to help us make the final decision. So, we’re conducting a poll of the local charities our staff have shortlisted to let you, our valued clients, decide which cause you’d like us to support!
This poll will be open for one month to give everyone the opportunity to vote. You can take a look at the charities on the shortlist below:
The Charities
Wolverhampton Christmas Hamper Appeal
Wolverhampton Christmas Hamper Appeal supports families who may be struggling at Christmas, helping to make sure children do not wake up on Christmas morning without presents. Running for 13 years and having helped thousands of local families, the appeal works with local schools and confidential community nominations to identify who needs support. Looking ahead to the 2026 Christmas season, donations will help provide Christmas hampers, gifts, and practical essentials, with the charity asking for brand-new items and offering local collection points to make giving as easy as possible.
Rugeley Community Centre
Rugeley Community Centre is a welcoming local hub, helping people across Rugeley with practical support, connection, and signposting to other services when needed. From community activities to targeted help for those going through a difficult patch, the Centre is focused on making sure no one feels they have to cope alone. It also runs a Foodbank to support people in crisis, helping individuals and families get essentials when finances are stretched.
Molly Olly’s Wishes
Molly Olly’s Wishes supports children aged 0 to 18 living with life threatening illnesses, as well as the families caring for them. The charity helps by granting “wishes”, which can include things like medical aids and equipment, bedroom makeovers, toys, days out, or help with travel costs, all shaped around what will genuinely lift the child and family at a difficult time. Molly Olly’s also created “Olly The Brave”, a therapeutic toy and storybook series designed to help children feel supported through treatment and hospital stays.
Hollytrees Animal Rescue Trust
Hollytrees Animal Rescue Trust rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes animals who are stray, abandoned, neglected, or unwanted. Based in the West Midlands, the team supports the hands-on reality of animal welfare, including safe catching, veterinary care, neutering, and careful rehoming, along with education to encourage responsible pet ownership. For animal lovers, it is a charity that turns concern into action, giving vulnerable animals the time, care, and stability they need to move on to a safer future. The charity is also run by longstanding clients of ours, so it is a cause that is particularly close to our hearts.
Compton Care
Compton Care provides specialist palliative and bereavement support for people living with life limiting conditions and the families around them. Its services help people access the right care at the right time, including support at home, inpatient care, day services, and bereavement support. For many local families, this kind of care brings comfort, dignity, and reassurance, not only for the person who is unwell, but for everyone affected.
